Winter Question

Question:

Do you prefer experiencing a longer colder, snowy winter season or are you of the opinion that winter should remain in the far north?

Any sign of ice or snow in the UK brings the country to a standstill, every year like clockwork. Worse than in Victoria! British drivers are apparently unaware of that excellent colonial invention: snow tires. But I'm heading home for the holidays and hoping (in vain, probably) for a white Christmas.

Gandalf the Grey

But the last-comer was named among the elves Mithrandir, the Grey Pilgrim, for he dwelt in no place, and gathered to himself neither wealth nor followers, but ever went to and fro in the Westlands ... befriending all folk in times of need.
